Did my back in a few years ago...it finally went the morning after the Christmas party (might have been the cossack dancing ).

The pain was incredible...I was in a hotel...it took me about 2hrs to crawl around and get out the room. In hindsight I should have called for help!

my first thought was 'i actually need an ambulance for this one' but like an idiot, i had left my phone in the house on charge...the house right next door is empty and the neighbour the other side is deaf so shouting wouldnt have come to much.

my shed is in an enclosed area at the side of the house where my french mastif has free roam and his own shed as a kennel. so i had him trying to play, while trying to figure out how im going to drag myself to the gate, open it (the latch it about 1.5 meters up) then get to the other end of the house to the kitchen door, through the kitchen and into the living room to get my phone...making it that far made me realise i wasnt wasting an ambulance so rang my mother to come get me...in hindsight an ambulance may have been more accessible than a nissan micra.

I've been watching the Duracell project...basically a guy restoring/converting a fibreglass yacht that was originally built in the 1980s for round the world racing.

Very interesting project...and he shows a lot of the repair techniques using fibreglass and carbon etc. some of the ideas he has are very clever.

But if you don't own an old fibreglass boat with rotten ply bulkheads that needs fixing then it's way less interesting I guess!!!

I Started watching that channel when he first started the project. Think I got to about episode 10 or so. I really need to have a catch up.
