Entertainment while i feel sorry for myself

So, ive just downloaded a few games on steam, but im not the type that play endlessly for hours so will need to break it up a bit.

Any good youtube channels? I already watch doubleboost, TOT, artisan makes, Inheritance machining, Torbjorn and a few other blacksmith channels, Colin furze, clickspring, chronova engineering, cutting edge engineering, IC weld etc

Any other good general fabrication, machining or metalworking channels I can look at ?

you could look for new music on youtube and grab it onto the hard drive

watch series and films all to pass the day on same as the games though with the new episodes or end of the film its brew time so gets you up and moving

as goes for games im sticking with the older ones the ones i own but ive got them on both the p0c and playstation 2 as well

i have a bit of a weird relationship with PC games...i grew up with a ps2 and then a xbox 360 (ironically, the last time i was laid up unable to move) and those games stuck with me. the likes of metal gear solid, splinter cell, GTA 3 etc but lately ive started playing newer games like snow runner, and just downloaded roadcraft today for a look as the demo seemed promising.

my 4 year old has just got home so is currently sat in bed next to me watching me trot about in a defender getting stuck in mud and trying to figure out how to pave a road

zx 81 and the bbc was around in my teens but chuckie egg was a fav of mine

then spectrum and a few of the early consoles that we came across nothing like the ps1-2

sega, nintendo cartridge units

all i can say is you younger ones have more games that what we had except for the spectrum

nothing like 3d in those days not even sega rally was 3d but mario kart was ( snes before you ask )

tomb raider and need for speed most wanted really brought out the 3d games whilst most shoot em up games was still 2d

Sod the games get on Facebook marketplace and get some Lego technic or the really accurate Lego creator sets. I have just done the Lego classic defender which is really good. Plenty of different cranes too for you.
Outrageously expensive new but some of the sets on Facebook and vinted you just about justify the cost of.

Outrageously expensive new but some of the sets on Facebook and vinted you just about justify the cost of.
