Roofing tiles - drone

DJI pro 4 is mine...started off on cheap chinese and rubbish, then went to the dji mini buying a used one off a member here but the clipping your phone to it for the screen was a right faff...paid £1100 for the pro4 with a screen built in to the console and it was a game changer, use it for all my high surveys and charge £50 with a detailed estimate including the pic or vid footage. drone has paid for its self and now owes me nothing...advice is get someone to do it for you or if you are going to enjoy it after your roof just buy one and go dji under 250g, no restrictions are applied to sub 250g drones.

I do hope you're not operating it from that distance as you'd be a naughty boy if so,i take it you do have an operators ID and flyers ID?

They say it must be visible with unaided vision. I have incredible eyesight and follow it on my pushbike
Mind you over the sea or the Brecon Beacons are my usual flight paths.

you really want to get rid of that ivy as it will damage your cement and cause you loads of problems with your wall

ivy is the one plant that can split bricks and stone away from there cement

Look at the state of that gutter and brickwork. You would be the good old boys best customer. Surprised they have not been knocking. They will even give you a lift down to the local ATM.

Gaz is right about ivy though, it has pulled down a 6 foot garden wall near here. Three bricks thick too.

Ah,but there is a loophole,you can have a fellow spotter with you who can use aided vision

I just chased up my Eurocell "Envirotile" Ridge Tile order to top off my roofing effort - should be here by the weekend (not getting fitted this weekend though).
It'll be interesting to see them though & check them out.

So to conclude, after taking advice from you gentleman I decided to take the simplest approach to start with.
By using a pair of binoculars I was able to see that the dislodged tile was twisted but still underneath the one above it.
I then rested a ladder against the gutter and with a parachute strapped to my back was able to push the tile back into place by using a piece of 25*38 baton approximately 4mtrs long .
