Cebora Stag 189 – Help with Euro Connector Trigger Pins/Wires

Hi all,


I’m new to welding and need a bit of advice. The two trigger wires at the back of the brass Euro connector on my Cebora Stag 189 have been yanked out. They won’t push back in far enough to lock (probably because they're bent), so I’m looking at either replacing the terminals themselves or fitting a whole new Euro connector block with the wiring pre-attached.


What’s the best option here? Are replacement terminals readily available, or is it easier just to swap the whole connector assembly? I take it parts for these welders can be tricky to source?

Just remember anything you use to supor the new one must NOT be electricaly connected to the machine frame . The orignal socket is isolated from the frame by the plastic mount collar.

Thanks Mike, I was looking at these but I was a bit worried they wont fit into the plastic mount collar as none of those seem to have the 2 grooves along the gas part. Will these still fit?

Looks like you can get replacements complete with plastic sleeve, probably best to check the dimensions against yours - linky

Out off curiosity have you tried pushing them in from the front ? And does the two come apart ? You might be able to replace the panel part

The connectors are quite bent so barely and it's one solid piece.

As tthere was no image of how yours was fitted I could not comment on it.
If you post a pic of how it is attached/installed it might allow some sudgestions as to how you migh modify the new one to fit.
I know when I bought one that some modding was needed to fit the machine I was fitting it into.
