Night vision binoculars / monocular / goggles

Does anyone here have any experience with and recommendations for a cheap (under £100) device for night viewing? I want something portable and hand held, not a security camera.

I have seen various "binocular" style devices on eBay/Amazon/AliExpress which get mixed reviews. I suspect the binocular type actually have a single camera, so one side is a dummy or IR emitter LED? Some reviews claim decent picture quality, and even show decent images in their reviews, but I think these may be the saved images, not the same as the lower quality live view images on the small display screen.

Pard used to do one, may still do. It was around £200 new. I was looking at buying a set for my nephew, he’s wanting to come out with me one night. The ones on Temu are cheap, £20 - £70, good enough I thought. He might only come out the once ! I’d budget for adding an external ir too, they can make a huge difference to the quality of picture you get

I don't use temu but I expect they are the same ones on AliExpress, or Amazon at an inflated price. Yes, I'm tempted as it's mostly for my kids.

No. All my nv gear is small screen. I can connect it all to my iPhone to get a bigger viewing screen though. Don’t know if these cheaper units can do that

This one appears to have decent specs if it can be believed. Also has WiFi capability, not sure if that means it can work as a webcam.
