Totally OT, which is normal for this forum, I was surprised when I found out how much of the world do drive on the left. It’s about 30% of countries.

We drive on the left, because you mount (and tack up) your horse from the left, and it keeps your sword arm ready for oncoming bandits.

Now, I’ve seen Yellowstone, and they seem to mount from the left as well. Why they drive on the right is something to do with wagon drivers sitting on the left-hand horse, for whatever reason.

Napoleon apparently mandated driving on the right, be we didn’t comply because… we don’t follow the French. It’s in the Magna Carta
