This is 6x6 though .How about electrolysis ?
Battery charger and some washing soda IIRC
Kiddy Pools are probably on sale cheaply this time of year, maybe 4' diameter.
You can simply knock some lumber together into a frame, set on floor, and line with some 6mil poly to make whatever size you need. This is 6x6 though .
They really aren't that bad. Mind you I have a big brush cutter with a harness and cow horn handles.
its normaly grit and ok if its getting painted unless they lace it with chilled ironI know a dude who is willing to sand blast for cheap, so I'll go for that option. Cheers guys.
At that thickness it will be fine whatever method. Blasting would be favourite, but of course it isnt free.Well, I haven't got the sheet yet, but I'm thinking 8mm ish.
That'd be 4sqmThis is 6x6 though .
Indeed I didn't read it properlyThat'd be 4sqm![]()
Better than citric is this mix. For a 1L solution use 100g citric- 40g washing soda - squirt of washing up liquid. Really works very well.make a citric bathe and stick the sheet in it then heat the cirtic bath up and let it get on with its work
i dont know the mix but ive seen hot tubs made out of pallets and sheetsBetter than citric is this mix. For a 1L solution use 100g citric- 40g washing soda - squirt of washing up liquid. Really works very well.
The mix is from a great Youtube video someone posted on this channel. I have used it myself. It basically works similar to but better than evaporust. It is reusable many times. Totally safe and less harmful to the steel. I found citric on it's owned would turn everything black. This doesn't. Much easier cleaning parts afterwards. Also won't do any harm if you leave stuff in too long.i dont know the mix but ive seen hot tubs made out of pallets and sheets
easy enough to build a rust remover using the same principle
Ahem, 4 sq yards.That'd be 4sqm![]()
