Here's the DS bulkhead and rear window. Quite shiny from the gun. Very little of this is seen. The sills are covered with carpet, the bonnet covers the bulkhead. The rear wings almost come up to the window.

Some things I've learnt.
You need plenty of light. I need sunglasses in the garage now. Without enough light you can't see if the surface is wet enough.
For those of us with a small compressor (14cfm displacement) a LVLP gun was a good buy.
I was always moving the gun too quickly, slow down and let the paint build up.
Nisocoat 2 was a game changer for me.

Definitely agreed on the light. I often use a good cordless led torch in my other hand to get good reflections at the right angle so I can be sure I'm laying it down like glass. Proper booth lights probably deal with this but in a shed a good torch is enough.
Glad the nisocoat 2 has worked out well. Seems like the best all round compromise if you don't want to/ can't spray isocyanates. I recently had good luck getting a colour match in it by using hmg colour box colours against a bit of the car with an experienced paint match guy. Looks like a perfect match to me.
Nisocoat 2 has 1% tinuvin123 in it, which combined with the acrylic resin base means decent UV stability which probably equates to around 80% of the weather performance of an isocyanate cured acrylic.
