Just yesterday I had to buy 4 solid trolley wheels to replace the inflated type that came when the thing was new.....oh, plus one wheel barrow wheel as well.....
that little lot was almost 100 euro's...
now there are still generators and water pumps to do.....
the tyres perish quite fast here due to UV.....
the usual prob when u got too the machine the tyres are flat or just to low, plus sick of repairing / replacing wheel barrow wheels, tyres n tubes....
so my question.....
is there a foam that will actually replace the rotten inner tubes....thats so I can reuse the wheels again.....
I'm for ever repairing / replacing wheels for freinds n neighbours.....
I did try building foam on a pair on a wheeled strimmer....total waste of time....
help please...

yep , golf buggys and lots of plant have foam filled tires ,,, they stay squidgy a bit but dont go flat . the volume of the tire is calculated , the equivalent pressure is on a chart then they inject a liquid to the volume the chart says , give it a spin and that does it.

All our plant tyres where either foam filled or solid rubber, i'm sure commercial tyre shops will have some stuff ?

Solid tyres for wheel barrows are now a thing, and complete on a new rim is about the same price as a decent traditional tube as I found out after buying a new tube for my barrow
It will get a solid tyre if it ever goes flat in the future.

Not exactly the answer you asked for but solid filled tyres on a wheelbarrow or sack truck are slightly harder to push over rough ground, but they more than make up for that by needing no messing round before you can use the thing.
As someone else said, complete foam wheels are available for the same price as a replacement innertube if you get them online from the usual cheap tat suspects.
My only gripe with them on a 2 wheel trolley etc is that the hubs seem to only loosly clamp the bearing, and with sufficient load the bearing outer shifts in the stamped wheel and start to look like drunken clown wheels. I turn up bearing housings that bolt the stamped inner for them to fix this once and for all. On wheelbarrows they dont seem to have the same problem.

Some of my 6-8 barrows have solid tyres....they r now 46 Euro's each....for a bit less than 100 euro's I can buy a 1/2 decent galv barrow BRAND NEW....
our ground here is very stoney.....nightmare when full of conc on a solid tyre......
a couple of the inflated barrow tyres have a plastic strip cut from an emuslion bucket fitted between the tyre n tube.....that slows down the puncture rate.....
But new tubes are just garbage....

My local farmer supply depot had solid tyre on a new wheelbarrow rim for 18 euros, a new tube cost 15...

Agree about new tubes being junk. I recently fitted a tube to a pushbike, the tube came from the back of the garage and is decades old.
It feels twice the thickness & quality compared to modern tubes..

All the utility type tyres for wheelbarows/trollies seem junk now, most of my stuff Ive changed over to Mobility scooter tyre and tubes as they seem much better quality, I also hate solid tyres/wheels as its nice to have a bit of bounce
