What length is the 109 pickup bed? Wouldn't have thought it long enough to sleep in?

Just about 6'. So plenty of room. For me.

We went the caravan route (2 kids and two dogs).

Might end up with a Motorhome in the future though, will see what happens.

Most of those mouldings are just basic chopped glass fibreglass and whatever polyester resin was cheapest at the suppliers tbh, 's why they crack as soon as you look at 'em.

At least you can repair GRP, some of the moulded plastics won't take adhesive, or hot-gun welding.

The ingenious sleeping platform has been built. Featuring cunning hinges, brilliant craftsmanship and using inspirational traditional tools.

Or, perhaps, some crap ply, a rip saw, and some plasterboard screws into scrap timber.

The ply is possibly seventy years old, so there is that...

Seventy year old ply is probably still better than a lot of the stuff you can buy now!
