Flowmeter positioning

Daft question time! Presumably the flowmwter on my Argom bottle needs to be vertical?

I have an SGS bottle with the outlet coming out sideways and a regulator to suit, but the bottle handle is obstructing it from being mounted vertically.

To be honest im not sure if the threads match on in/outlet of your flow meter, but can you mount the current outlet onto the reg so its stood up, and turn it so it sits well enough to use? Or rotate the reg to allow it to be positioned correctly?

If you slacken the reg off and rotate so the adjustment knob points upwards, you should then be able to turn the flow meter

Can you turn the whole gauge 180 deg, turn the gauges so they are facing up and will the flow meter then be on the outside and clear the bottle cage. Might be a bit tight but see.
