copper roof - opinions?

just stick with lead, easy to work and repair.....it's been in use for hundreds of years.....
For houses I always thought insulated steel profile sheets were the best for maintainence free life....
If I built a new house or a big renovation thats what I'd use.....
If the thought police will let me.....
Plenty of old thatched roof houses still have a tin roof.....

Galv sheets last - I got sheds that have survived the test of time...

Wasn't someone here doing a pergola (or whatever those things you have in your garden are called) with a copper roof a while back?

anyone have any experience with them? do they last well?

I'd be very tempted to just crack on & do it. Worst case scenario, you end up reverting to lead, a few year down the line.
