Gel Crimps

I am looking for Gel crimps for 1.5mm cable, any one know of a good place to get some?

Please clarify whether the 1.5mm is the outside diameter of the insulation or the cross-sectional area of the conductor.

From what I can see, gel crimps are IDC (insulation displacement connectors) and most give 1.5mm as the max. OD of the insulation, 0.4mm^2 - 0.5mm^2 as the max. CSA.

TLC Electrical is always a good bet.

1.5mm is the conductor size, it is for FP200 cable.

Gel crimps are usually only for low voltage applications, like intruder alarms or comms.
For mains voltage typically you will use either an IP rated enclosure or a joint box which can be filled with gel – like the raytech stuff.
3M do some moisture resistant connections (314) that are a bit like gel crimps, but not really waterproof I don't think.

For FP I’d gland it into a fire rated IP65+ box. Think it is supposed to be fire rated joint anyway.
