Is this Parkside Rust Paint the same as before?

Evening all

I just happened on some of this rust paint in the local store and seemed decent for the money.

I remember a bunch of you guys saying for the money it wasn't bad, and that it was better than Hammerite.

That said, the latest instalment of this paint is water based, was it always like that?

It used to be oil based. It was good. And then they changed it.

The water based Lidl metal paints are terrible I ended up throwing full cans in the bin

Oh dear. I have an unopened spray can of the black one. Was hoping it was as good as the Aldi straight to metal spray paint, which they haven't had for ages and which although good invariably gets clogged and unusable.

I think the aerosols are still spirit based. I bought several last time they were in the store & they definitely are
