A couple of questions:-
1. Workshop based (fixed) or may need to be taken to other power sources.
3. Available power 240 or 415 volts?
2. Possible use from generator?

To be honest I would just go the cheaper route... it going to be fill of straw and any other dust that going to get sucked in from the fan before very long.
How about this, the brand gets decent reviews I think

Hello,
The modern equivalent of the traditional oil cooled Oxford arc welder would be something like a Jasic 180 SE.
I replaced my oil cooled Oxford with one and it performs just as well, in fact better and is easy to move. You can buy online and have delivered.

You'll need a 5 or 6Kva generator minimum for a 140/160 amp inverter welder realistically, preferably with a voltage stabilization control unit. The inverters electronics tend to get a bit iffy, if the input voltage falls to far on arc start, and the magic smoke can escape.....
.Check the inverters requirements in the spec sheet for which genny you need to use, if you go that route...

just get a used copper wound buzz box (heavy) the ally ones weigh nothing....
My 160amp runs from a genny no problem...u do have a work cycle ....auto switch off when the unit gets hot....
it's great for farm work...mine 20 years'ish old n still working.....
but for big fab jobs I do have a 225 oil cooled Oxford in the barn....
