CM Lodestar electric chain hoist 110V max 3000t

Looks clean hoist generally. I hate that the paint goes like that on them. The one I have in my garage is not too bad. Mines a 1t which is essentially just yours with a single line hook block.

I bought two 3t ones from an auction last year. I took the hook block off the one rough one so I have the ability to run 3t on mine if I want. Sold them both after.

What did you pay for that if you don’t mind me asking.

That's why I couldn't resist. I didn't know they were all 'hernia' inducing machines (70+ kilo) and had different blocks to make up the lifting capacity.

you could run it with a single line easily by just taking the two lines out and putting it straight to the hook. If you got the adapter to hook the chain to the hoist you could also run it 2 line for 2t.
I wouldn’t run it 3t unless I definitely needed it. They’re so slow with that setups.

Stripped as far as I'm willing to strip, and I have a better understanding of what @KimB was talking about.
I decided to paint it black, and I'm unanimous in that.
Paint and substrate were embarrassing; if that's a factory finish, they need someone to show them how to prep and paint.
Anyhow's, as an expert prep and painter , I'll try to do a better job.

As I will have it, for speedier chain retraction, lift and drop, it'll take 1 ton with a single drop.
For 2 ton you loop the chain through the pulley on the lifting hook pulley and return and fix to the head.
For 3 ton, you bring the second line through the pulley on the lifting hook, back up to the head through the pulley in the piece pictured below and return to the hook.

This piece fixes through the head and carries a single drop to the hook, through the hook pulley and back up to this piece, through the pulley in this piece and back down to the hook.
