I have been impressed with mine, because it's 240V it gets used a lot more than the Hypertherm 50A or ESAB 90A which both require me to fire up the generator. For an 80 quid machine it did a rather impressive job
Cheers Pete. At £80 it's going to pay for itself pretty quickThis is the one with no compressor built in. I turned up the output a bit using the control pot on the board.
For the £80-odd quid it cost hell yeah I would recommend it.
sometimes you are better getting your own compressor as it gives you a chance to stop while it recharges back up and you can hear it with a seperate compressorIs this the Parkside one with built in compressor? I looked at it last time they had them in but passed on it.
That looks to be a decent cut @pete ! You'd recommend then ?
I have run mine on a 25lt oil free compressor successfully when working on my mate's traffic.sometimes you are better getting your own compressor as it gives you a chance to stop while it recharges back up and you can hear it with a seperate compressor
whilst saying that a compressor of 40 litres is ample enough to run them
i can run 2 extensions one plugging in each extension down a 50ft garden and they both work just the same
yeah but nowadays you can get a cheap air compressor at 50 litres at a decent priceI have run mine on a 25lt oil free compressor successfully when working on my mate's traffic.
When it's on the big workshop compressor, I will occasionally trigger the thermal cut-out because of the runtime.
The little 25lt one is handy for working at other people's places because I can hoik it around and chuck it in the back of the ute without really feeling it.yeah but nowadays you can get a cheap air compressor at 50 litres at a decent price
i prefer belt driven than direct
