The 6 piece set I saw only had X2 ph/pz and those are the ones I was really after. They probably sell a pz/ph only set somewhere but I couldn't find it.

Yea I looked everywhere but was the same...for me the slotted screwdrivers aren't really that useful as I hardly use them. They are listed as ph1 and 2 with the other 4 slotted

I also bought a set of their screwdriver bits...was the same...a bunch of bits thrown in that really I could do without!
Arriving by DHL
Also a Meteor piston and cylinder kit for the G372XP clone, hopefully I ordered the correct one!
Got my dad to watch it on his ebay to get a 6 quid discount, £123 total.
I spent years battling on with the same 2 or 3 worn out rounded tips before it occurred to me to buy a bulk pack, and sling the tip when it started to round off a bit.More Wera gear...hopefully I now have what I need to reduce my blood pressure.
So frustrating using rubbish screwdrivers and bits!
Friend recommended these...they're the ones with the diamond coating ....hopefully they'll last a while.
I really dislike pozi drives....actually that's not accurate...I dislike that there are two very similar looking drives and one with nicely round out the screws of the other! And to use the right tip on the right screw, not all cross heads are Pozi.
Pozi are more a European thing, afaik, whereas Philips are US in origin and should have stayed there. JIS came along to muddy the waters, but I never had any real trouble with them simply by using a Pozi. Although when I finally got a couple of JIS drivers they gripped even old knacked screw heads bloody well.urely the world should have stuck with standard star point or switched to pozi and be done!
no paddys motorbike was a benjo rammer early whackerThe old Irish motorbike.![]()
There have been something like 43 different variants of cross-head screws over the years, if my recollection is correct.I really dislike pozi drives....actually that's not accurate...I dislike that there are two very similar looking drives and one with nicely round out the screws of the other!

Wow...I really did not know that. There have been something like 43 different variants of cross-head screws over the years,
I Googled it many years ago.Wow...I really did not know that.
In an attempt to better organise my garage, bit the bullet and ordered some Euro boxes
The size I wanted all seemed to be around £12 per box plus delivery.
Then found Solent Plastics selling new boxes made from recycled plastic for £6 each

Beta make some really good gear, it’s usually very good qualityBought as a test sample...just fed up with nasty grips...I would usually say cheap and nasty but some I've bought weren't actually cheap!
So far I'm happy...the black bits will need some oil to prevent rust but they feel nicely made and the thread bit is actually joined so works properly!
Brand is Beta (1052-240)...I'll buy a few more I think...wanted to test one out.
