Swapped out the flasher unit on my MG for a modern electronic one as I was fitting LEDs and and even if not it gives a nice consistent flash rate not dependant on the output of the dynamo.
It is basically housed in a standard relay sized black cube, but does not have a integral mounting tab.
Now the only relay mounts I can find are basically a plug you wire up from below and plug the relay into. Don't want to do that as it means hacking into the wiring harness.
Old metal flasher had a nice little clip that it just shoved into. Is there not something similar available for automotive relays? or am I going to have to glue a tab with a screw hole to the side of it?
Think I've checked all the usual suspects but as far as I can tell they don't exist?? Probably not worth me buying and learning how to use a 3D printer for either
