what the difference between the fury 3 and rage 3 blade size 210.
why 2 of the more or less the same thing?
ok theres a price difference but why?
I was planning on buying a rage 4 but then I thought maybe rage 3 or fury might be better due to the being more versatile.
I was just going to cut tubing and bits and bobs but now I will also cut box sections.
the rage 4 sound... 100.8dB(A)
the fury 3/rage 3 sound.... 98db(A)

I have the Fury3 210mm sliding mitre saw, I'm very happy with it, its accurate and fast and very well built.

Take a bit of time to set it up properly though as mine was a long way from cutting square and plumb out of the box.

Yes I have the S210 Rage which is very good got it on a screwfix offer
but without seeing the fury I really can see how there is much difference all the specification reads the same ! might only be a marketing ploy! sell a orange one for one price and a green one for a lower price

I've actually used both.. I had a fury3, which got stolen, and then got a rage3 from screwfix as they are doing them for £99! Only difference I can see is that the motor has more power, 1500W instead of the 1200W or whatever it was on the fury. And the angle guage is set up properly! so 45' really is 45'.. the fury wasn't set up quite right.
Only other difference I found, is the fury had a hex bolt to lock the blade, and the rage has a allen head bolt locking it.
But I think stucktoweld is right, I think it's a marketing ploy really. Very good bit of kit though, cut through 10mm plate with no problem. Then when you knacker the multi blade, just get a steel one instead. Then you have the £400 steel saw, for £99. They are all the same I think.. just the blades! I mainly cut 40x40x3 box, it's like cutting through wood. Great bit of kit.
