I just got back from working in the middle east, the cat came and gave me a sniff then wandered off to do cat things.

My partner then told me he has calmed down now I am home.

Apparently every day I was gone he would come and meow at her 4-5 times a day and lead her to my office or the master bedroom and meow more like he wanted something.

Apparently I am ornamental to him.

Two of ours auditioning for the position of gatepost lions.
The tabby Barney our youngest is just loving life, amazed by the great outdoors and thoroughly enjoying playing with (and tormenting) Merlot the tuxedo.

Taking a photo of a lump of landrover to explain to someone what I wanted but in mirror, and Ali aka naughty G who was dozing on the forklift seat promptly photobombed the photo sticking her tongue out.

Not quite, my early 90 (pre-defender) thats having a lhd conversion having been on the "wrong" side for 15 years over here. When the steering swaps sides, the heater box has to move sides to make way for the column etc so is mirrored imaged too on the opposite side of the bulkhead, along with the air intake, header tank and a load of other small bracketry and trim. The dash itself is a right faff to change hand so usually people buy a complete bulkhead with dash but they change hands for thousands even in rough condition and I'm a tight git as I paid less than that for the 90 itself years ago. I've got most of the parts to finish now but missing this duct/lower dash panel, that I'll end up cutting and altering if a lhd one doesnt appear in the next week or so.

I have been trying to introduce ours to the outside world again (he initially couldn't go out as a kitten) now that it's warm.

Once again, he is completely unmoved by the outside world, and would like to go back inside thank you very much.

But I have always been a strong advocate that cats should have independent time outside... So maybe he's just being contrary.

Some cats just don't want to go out.
A former neighbours cat would stand in the open doorway, looking out at their garden, do a sort of shudder and go off to a room that did not have a door open to the outside.
It really seemed to be "I've tried that, never again!"

Our female tabby goes out occasionally to pee, apart from that she has no interest in being outside, unless we are outside in good weather then she will come and sit beside us on the patio or if the bbq is lit. Other than that she's content to be indoors.

Difficult converstation with the one eyed yardcat I been feeding for the last two years.

"Mega boxes of Dreamies in Tescos have gone up 10% overnight from £5.00 to £5.50 - they not good for you - you eating too many of them - you getting a fat cat".

Ginger cat gave me the look of death - a @roofman look - sort of "on the subject of life expectancy I am looking for quality not quantity" look.

I softened and bought him two packs from Lidl on the way home.
