Can I revise my description:Probably a single use swivel connector.
You screw them into the pump, then the pipe pushes/snaps in.
If you need to get them back of the pipe, you usually have to carefully cut them off, then fit a new one.

Thanks, I'll have a better lookCan you find the spare parts diagram and infer anything from that? The model year and identification code might helpful.
This one is not correct as it does not have the T with the electrical thing on it, but the correct diagram might tell you something useful:

Yes. The rigid pipe is fitted using a quick fitting swivel connector into the pump. Can I revise my description:
It's the ridged pipe union into the pump that's leaking not the flexible rubber hose.
Is that the swivel connector you spoke of? Sorry, trying to source parts before going beyond the point of no return.
ThanksYes. The rigid pipe is fitted using a quick fitting swivel connector into the pump.
Sorry to come back to this, are there likely failure points? ie. Is the ridged pipe end likely to be distorted or can I replace the swivel connector & snap the pipe back in? I recognise this is a bit how long is a piece of string but your thoughts appreciatedYes. The rigid pipe is fitted using a quick fitting swivel connector into the pump.
I can't honestly remember having the union itself leak there, as you're usually changing the pump or the pipe itself. In which case you'd either just undo the union complete with pipe from the old pump, or fit a new union with the new pipe.Sorry to come back to this, are there likely failure points? ie. Thanks, fingers crossed it's just the union as the pipes not do easy to findI can't honestly remember having the union itself leak there, as you're usually changing the pump or the pipe itself. My concern would be that the issue is wear/corrosion on the pipe which has caused the leak, but trying a new union on its own is a lot cheaper than a new pipe.
Hey again, looks a lot like the o rings are the problem. I've measured but I'm not getting standard sizes. Any idea what the o ring might be please?Yes. The rigid pipe is fitted using a quick fitting swivel connector into the pump.
No idea, sorry.Hey again, looks a lot like the o rings are the problem. I've measured but I'm not getting standard sizes. Any idea what the o ring might be please?
Bang on, it def doesn't exist in my o ring kitNo idea, sorry.
Being automotive, there is a high possibility that they'll be some odd ball size.
..... Guess who just assumed the kit would be enough
..... Bother
