My daughters 2012 Sport is 148bhp! Probably lost a couple of horses with 160k on the clockTurns out there's a 162 bhp version of the 2.0 engine!
There's a couple nice looking ones we've seen but I've told the boy to check his insurance first...

Yep. I checked out mx5s a while ago for someone - seems like they're built right down to a spec...very good mechanicals but ZERO underbody protection from new..... Idk if MX3s are the same thoughI can't comment on reliability though I'd imagine they are reliable. But we have had a few in for tyres and I always take a peek underneath cars to check condition for my own interest. Mazda's are by far the rustiest cars I see. Nissan and renaults are usually rust free. That's my view lol
I remember when the jap bikes broke the 100bhp per litre threshold!A friend has a Raptor Ranger and that's nearly 300hp from a 2l engine... Can't see that lasting long.
I was just surprised, turbos go a long way but still. The L322 is outputting 330hp from a 4.4 litre so my money is on that lasting longer. Ironically it also has better fuel economy but then at motorway speeds the engine is pretty much idling.@sako243 from what I understand, the engines seem to last but the gearboxes are chocolate
Ford won't care as long as it lasts to the end of the warrantyA friend has a Raptor Ranger and that's nearly 300hp from a 2l engine... Can't see that lasting long.
Thought the raptor used the ecoboost 3.0 v6 petrol, rated at 292hp.A friend has a Raptor Ranger and that's nearly 300hp from a 2l engine... Can't see that lasting long.
2020MY apparently used 2l ecoblue engine.Thought the raptor used the ecoboost 3.0 v6 petrol, rated at 292hp.
2.0l EcoBlue only went to 185ps, anything with more power had a v6.2020MY apparently used 2l ecoblue engine.
All Most Full . There always seems to be enough room for a few more .Went to look at another one today, it was described as very good bodywork when asked, except for a small crack in the lower front bumper skirt. Ok I can live with that...
Drove 35 miles to see a complete piece of ****.
Rust hole bubbling through the front wing, scuffs on the roof from stuff being dragged over it, marks in the paint finish, dent in the roof, none of this is noticeable in the photos so you have to trust that they tell the truth.
I left after putting my knee into the rust hole.
In the way home the ubiquitous cxxt in a BMW nearly took my front bumper off trying to undertake me in heavy traffic on the M25, that was after he nearly hit me up the **** driving like a tit.
I'm finished with people now, this country is full of self centered lying cheating arrogant cxxts and I can't be dealing with them anymore.
Where do I go now?
I spent a hellish fortnight looking at similar condition cars here after my son crashed his Astra G into a barrier properly totalling it and was 3rd party only insured. Eventually I reliquished hope of finding something learner insurable in his budget of under 3k and critair 3 (2004 and newer petrol) after a massive depressing stream of crap cars with major isses for lots of money, and bought a Astra H with oxygen sensor issues and engine check light on and a boot full of water figuring I had the stuff to sort them out & we had the remains of the perfectly running prior to barrier Astra G to rob parts off (none of which actually fit the H series, I know now...)Went to look at another one today, it was described as very good bodywork when asked, except for a small crack in the lower front bumper skirt. Ok I can live with that...

Yes, these all failed within the warranty period and he got rid before the warranty ran outFord won't care as long as it lasts to the end of the warranty![]()
Fixed that for youSo chin up, it could always be worse. Being in France exposes you to the very scum of the bottom of the barrel unless your lucky, especially in the more budget part of the market.
Should have got the 2.3 petrol -turbo!I’ve got a Mazda 3 2017. Does absolutely nothing interesting but just works. Had it since new and all it’s needed is a rear spring due to the surface of the moon roads round here.
Solid cars, not an ounce of sport in them
nbfl?Happy with our 2006 mx5 1.8 nbfl which has done 205kkm.

It did have massive rustrepairs before we got it 4 years ago.
So happy with it that I now find myself looking for a cx5 to tow our caravan.
Would the modern 2 liter have similarities with the 1.8 in the mx5?
I've seen the fuel consumption figures on those...Should have got the 2.3 petrol -turbo!
