Putting the She in Sheds

Finally got started.
Having spent far too long looking at pre-fab shed's and getting depressed either by the price or by the poor specs (or both) I have taken heart from Matt and Scamp's recent projects and decided to build my own...with help. It may work out costing more but I can at least spread the cost, get exactly what I want and enjoy the process (and hopefully use up some of the old timber cluttering up another shed)
I'll post progress photo's as we go.
This is the site, the new shed will be butted up to the existing shed (I think we've managed to work out how to resolve the join at the roof )
To make the most of a tight area I am having to abut the new shed to the existing one so this wall will be shared;
First job was to finish levelling the area and decide how big a shed I could fit there. The site with shrubs removed;
Next, get the former in place for the concrete base. I didn't have any suitable timber for the former so bought a sheet of 18mm shuttering ply and ripped it down to 6" planks.
I'd been looking at 10' x 14 - 16' sheds but have managed to squeeze a little extra (and gone metric as H who is working on it too doesn't do imperial ) so the concrete pad will be 3.5 x 5m or approx 11.5' x 16.5'.
Despite the departed daylight, the intrepid (ghost of) H finished the former and most of the levelling.
Might be a few days before we continue but I'll post as and when.
The plan is to build a single layer block wall onto the slab and take the timberwork up from there. I have a lot of short lengths (3-5') of 2x4 and some 2x3 which I'd like to use up so the inside will probably look like something from Steptoe and Son's yard
I'm looking at possibly getting larch feather-edge to clad it as it will weather nicely (this is going to be my view from the kitchen window ) and not need preservative.
Happy for any suggestions...I'm sort of making it up as I go along
