Parweld 915h Minimum 40 Amps!

I was going to get a Parweld 915h then noticed that is says Minimum Amperage Required 40 Amps and on another site it is says Minimum Amperage “Stable at 40 Amps” and on yet another site it said suitable for TIG?

I will be doing a lot of very thin metal on a Clarke 90en for quite some time, so does this mean that it is not really suitable for 25 to 35 amps range, the more I read the more conflicting views I get about the same product.

It'll be fine.

P.S. - I suppose that may not really be true, as I've not used that particular helmet.
But I've used one before, below it's "lowest" amp sensitivity, and it seemed ok.
Some do flicker on & off when right at their threshold, though.

It's the flickering that triggers these helmets. Tig flickers less than mig.

The helmet will auto darken looking at a light bulb. It will be fine for any mig you do.
