I love tractol paint but at this time of the year the drying time is slow. Hence recommending an epoxy paint.
A bit of an update... I think I'm going to go with an epoxy primer over the top of the zinc primer I've already put down. The primer has had a couple of days to cure so far, and I can still scratch into it with my fingernail (it is very cold outside mind you).
I assume an epoxy primer will cure over the slightly soft zinc primer and seal it in? Keep in mind this isn't going to be exposed to the elements, and doesn't need to be pretty either. It sounds like epoxy will cure quicker than a top coat paint would as well, even in this cold weather?
The Jotun coatings are only available in 5l vats as far as I can tell. Can anyone recommend a similar product that is available in smaller quantities?

maybe I am wrong but surely a extention lead and heater on low left would cure the zinc before you consider painting anything over .
Any auto paint shop will mix you up smaller quantities of epoxy and can tint it basic colours. My local one charges £15 for a litre of paint and the hardener.

LineX, Raptor Bed Liner, Or there's another cheaper brand maybe called Cobra which we've used to go effect on trailers.
It's actually on our much trailer which previously was rusting through in 3-5 years.
Well three years down the line and there's still no rust and we are only just beginning to get through to the steel now!

I'll definitely leave the primer a few more days at least to cure. I've been running a heater intermittently too, but the van is parked up elsewhere without permanent power.
I might try my luck at a paint shop if there's nothing smaller available. Failing that, raptor bed liner also seems like a good idea. Is there a chance I might have difficulty getting sikaflex to bond to this (for the floor battens)?

I'd suggest a dehumidifier and a heater. The damp in the air slows drying as much as the cold. One at either end of the van.
