Adjustable reamer. Any chance of getting what you pay for ?

@bR39Da yes true, a boxford or little Colchester isn’t going to have the swing, though the op said it’s only 13 1/2” dia, so something with a 7” centre height would get that, or the likes of a small Harrison with gap bed should swing that no problem.

I’d offer, but I’m not around next week. Suppose it’s how quickly @Smallfry whats it turning round!

I have a 2’ faceplate and the lathe to mount it on,enough studs kicking around to bolt it down,if you can’t get it bored locally.
I can also 4 jaw it,just noticed it’s not that big.

I can't offer anything remotely technical... but I do see flywheels being refaced on the (to me) whacking great Lathe where I work.
(They get agricultural tractor flywheels as well as automotive. As well as the big 4-Jaw chuck on the big lathe, there's another bit if kit for lightening & balancing flywheel, clutch & crank assemblies).
I'd have to ask but I'm guessing that if the flywheel fitted onto a lathe, then a single blade tool could then remove the required amount from the centre bore?

I can't swing 13.5" on my lathe or I'd turn it for you. I could bore it though on the mill or I could fix the blades on the reamer by grinding.

I can swing 15 inches in my lathe without removing the gap peice or in the mill but unfortunately I'm not local to the OP or I'd offer to do it.

You don't need a chuck. I used to face land rover flywheels with them directly bolted to a drop that was bolted
to the back plate on my old lathe. I did some discs with them bolted to a drop that was welded to a bit of hydraulic
ram that I held in my 3jaw.
I didn't have a faceplate for my old lathe, so I collected flywheels and drilled and tapped holes in them to hold things.

@Smallfry it sounds like there are people closer but if you're stuck I can run it up the road to a mate who bored out my flywheel.

I phoned him up for exactly the same reason I needed a LR flywheel centre bored out because it was badly made and didn't fit over the crank. Asked him how big his big lathe was, the reply was hold on I'll just run out to the workshop, can't remember if it'll take 4 or 5ft in the chuck. He was gone before I could say that it was only about a foot in diameter. Came back to confirm it could take 5ft in the chuck without the need for the faceplate. I said Roger, it's a Land Rover flywheel it's only about a foot. Oh, I'll do it on the small one then...

I am no machinist, so what is a "drop" ? I will have a look and see if there is a faceplate anywhere for the Mascot. As I said, the clutch on it has gone, so any heavy cuts on bigger diameters is out, but anything like this would not tax it too much.

I would love to have things like that, if Euromillions ever turns up trumps, I will rent an industrial unit and fill it with stuff like this !
