Wrapped in aluminium foil, with butter and an anchovy or two. Popped on the BBQ for 5-10 minutes.

Followed these instructions but my bolt won't thread in at all, terrible.

It seems he reduced the size of everything by 1/2 but the bloke using it said the wheels should be bigger.

Certain things don’t scale…

My 18” which could be called half sized has a full sized top wheel

That makes complete sense as its the work size increasing that requires a bigger throat/ space to work.

The original (not chinesium) frost cast iron English wheel patterns came up for sale on eBay. Not cheap but still for less than the vat on one pattern
When I go up to Rotherham I’m hoping he has the frost folder patterns as well.

Before I throw this all a big fat thumbs up, I just need to ask, for the benefit of those of us not clued up on English wheels…

What’s actually going on here?
Is there something special about these frost machines then? I thought you already had more English wheel patterns then you wanted, and the frost one looks like fugly version of the ones you’ve been making already.

*Sorry I’m a bit tired otherwise I’d phrase all that in a more delicate way!

Unfortunately this is a very public forum beyond the protection of blocking people
So I can’t post reasons mad or otherwise.
Depending upon timeframe of building construction I’m giving away my entire workshop in the next six months hopefully and I flatly refuse to do any metal work after that .
