I made a thing, nothing special just a piece of square bar with an M10 hole in the middle and 2 plain holes for bolts to pass through



It's a puller for the steering wheel on my Grand Cherokee as my usual methods completely failed to get the steering wheel off

However, the only thing it succeeded in pulling was the threads out of 1 of the holes!

Tapped the failed thread out to M12 and this time it held long enough to get the wheel off

Had a couple of orders so got to it.

My work buddy is around that, and it works out quite well sometimes

Made and fitted a roof rack to my washer bowser, used top box from ebay and i have somewhere to put the hoses and lances. Took 20T to cold bend that steel plate on my press for the fixing brackets. cut down roof bars from one of my vans just fitted the bill, with brackets on one side for holding the roof cleaning poles.

This is not a fast way of doing things, nor is it economical, if you don't get the depth of cut spot on, there goes another cutter!

Perfect for a-2 workshop,some forging,handrail ends and wall brackets and rail ends.The larger ones aren’t my preferred style but necessary to match some existing handrails.

Got up early in the morning went to my land at 7AM, excavator and operator were already there
Started to dig in the granite soil made a big hole for the mechanic pit.
Traced the workshop perimeter.
Made a trench for the electric line from the solar panels, got in the holes and finished to clean them with a showel.
Layed the electrical conduit, buried it.
That's what we did in roughly 9 hours of work.
Back home I've had lunch and dinner at once and build this 2012 Lego city mining dump truck

I should now cut a bolt champer the ends but and lock it using thread locker to fix a key duplicator machine but honestly I'm too tired and probably not worth to go out in the rain to go upstairs to do a 15 minutes job.

Today i spent most of the day in the warm workshop laying up a model yacht hull for a customer, Its a replica of an Edwardian racing cutter 27" long that was made by Sugg in approx 1910, even with the heater the gelcoat took a while to go off so i have left it cooking over the oil filled rad on low overnight.
Heres a photo of one i popped out a few days ago & one of the original boat.

Yesterday was cold, so the planned painting and rebuilding was slowed down. Despite the playpens being toasty.

So we made this.

This was a interesting build.

The instruction manual was not well written and was not in a logical order.

The timing belt assembly was very poor. The designe allows the belt to slip or not rotate.

Would i build one again, no.

Was it an interesting build, yes.
Aimed at children, not really.

Would it not work if the left hand side of the belt went around the tensioner and the right hand side straight?
