You cant be an Armchair Jumbler you need to be up early and queue up outside the night before, like the other nutters!
Personally I get up at Stupid O clock and drive there
Problem is two people can go and buy nothing but other times its just great you can never tell

Been a couple of times now, when we've been visiting York and staying in the Tadcaster Travelodge which is near the autojumble. You do find the stalls start packing up well before lunch. Came back with a few bits each time but it can be a bit hit and miss.

It’s always the same I have been all the way to Newark and bought nothing but I have also been to a ten stall local jumble and bought a great bike at a good price you just never know

I didn't see Bright Spark and "He who cant be mentioned" but Winchboy spotted them, It was a bit quiet but usual array of Tat got some Waxoil and an ice cream tub of Jubilees and one full of Rubber mounts and exhaust clamps at £2 each it would be rude not to.
Got winchgirl a new Barbour jacket wants a wash and re wax but still good.
One bloke has a valve grinder in very nice condition with all the bits. another had a couple of Myfords so a good assortment

We just see it as a nice morning out. The problem will always be not finding what you want or need. It’s good to catch up with some of the people there too

well it was well worth going . a gallon of antifreeze a fiver 4 galls of concentrate screen wash 10 quid 2 gallons of celly thinners a tenner the 2 and some half price air fittings and some aerosol spray paint 3 quid

I see it more as a morning out and an entertaining mooch about rather than expecting to find a needed item or a bargain. The entry price is reasonable. The jumbles at the big car shows are much better obviously but the entry price is pretty steep these days. I'll try to get up to the Tatton Park shows this year I think, not having been for a few years.

I was thinking of going to the Whitewebbs Museum jumble today but the rain AND ulez put me off.
