Late Christmas pressie

I just got this from my daughter today. OIt's late because even though she ordered it weeks ago it came from Bulgaria and got held up in transit. It's a genuine old enammelled warning sign from some old factory.

I love it. It's going to take pride of place on the wall in my workshop.

Swarf coming off , the material being machined. Because it is hot and razor sharp.
Round part is material. Flat piece is the cutting tool and spirals are Swarf getting thrown off.

Could be that, or beware using blunt lathe tools, or beware tools set below centre

its great , but even better that your daughter put in the thought and actually hunted out something she knew you would like.

I love the presents that people put loads of thought in to rather than just buying tat I have had a ships port hole and a steam engine amongst other things
