Mk7,any idea where the cigarette light fuse is,the visible one not under the flap,manual doesn’t list any,and there’s scores of the things in 4 different locations?

In my car the air conditioner fan works under the reverse light fuse.
You may have to stick a multimeter probe down the socket and check the fuses both sides to find out where it's connected

In the fusebox behind the glove box.
Can't remember if it's in the top layer, or the bottom layer though.
