What's wrong with asking "what's the best?"
A tig set is like a car... They all get you where they need to go, but i know what makes and model i prefer...

My point exactly! The "best" car will depend on whether you want to go from A to B in the shortest time, whether you want to cruise around the South of France trying to look cool, whether you have a mountain of furniture to shift etc In any case it makes more sense to have passed your test and had some real world experience before deciding on the best car for your needs!

I stand by my comment that it seemed a somewhat bizarre question from someone with 20 years experience of welding stainless exhausts.
