I just done a search for 20Ah LiFePo battery, and looked at the first couple hits. A bit more searching has revealed some other options at lower price points, such as this one on Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B096ZG8QN5/Thanks, I was wondering if lithium might be the answer. Are there genetic chargers that won't break the v wobbly bank?
If you can point me towards the LiFePo battery that's be v helpful.
My biggest concern will be if the batteries are connected in series (most of these type of applications are), how that would affect charging them. LiFePo batteries usually have a BMS (Battery Management System) built in to ensure cells remain balanced and to cut out when over/under voltage. You probably also want to look at the required charging voltage, and if the current charger is suitable.
LiFePo batteries are one of these things I'm aware off, and have fixed a couple items fitted with them, but I've never really paid much attention to the finer details, like exactly what kind of charging protection is typically built in.
