Very specifically budget drones

Interested in a drone just as a toy to play around with. Budget is £100, at this price range there are so many options it’s bending my brain

Anyone with experience please make a suggestion

That’s exactly the sort I’ve been looking at but there’s so many options, all with mixed reviews

There was less options 4 years ago, the Deerc had good reviews and once set up would hover and was easy to fly

I think I bought a second battery but it or the original died. Good fun on a cold day

I have a DJI Mavic Mini with a fly more combo (3 batterys and a smart charger) comes with a carry bag,charging leads,and a few spare blades. within your budget Parm...Whatsapp me if interested

I booted a guy off one of our local Farcebook pages for posting drone pics of what’s in peoples back yards. He put loads of pics up, posh areas, very detailed pics of back yards, even looking in windows, garages etc.
I don’t know if there’s rules about that sort of thing?

Sub 250G no law to stop you, they are no worse than dash cams, ring door bells, shop cctv, people with phone cams...list goes on. Morally i think they should not be used for snooping private property but when i am doing roof surveys with mine then where can the line be drawn regarding flying around neighboring property's.

It gets complicated, I don't think there's any official rules saying you can't since you don't own the airspace above you, however if you're spying on someone then technically you're breaching the data protection act if recording or breach of privacy which anyone would expect to have in their property boundaries which you could call the cops about.

nope not breaking any laws at all, your saying that dash cams are breaching the data protection act then. There are a few places you cant fly over and prisons being one of them but regarding private or commercial property then its not illegal to fly over and or film it.

an air rifle or catapult sorts nosey sods out peeping over your property or if u know where they live wrap it round there neck. if there just flying around and dont hang around over your house causing a nuisance good luck to them . i dont like spoiling peoples enjoyment

Drones are in-valuable to my game for none intrusive roof estimates or reports, few years ago this customer would have to pay for safe roof access (scaffold) and mens wages just to report on any work needing doing. myself and a drone 30 mins and the report and pics is in her Email in-box before the day ends.

Under 250g you need 3rd party insurance for commercial gain and a drone/operator ID license which can be obtained on-line in a simple questionnaire test, after which your personal drone ID number must be displayed on the drone in the form of a small sticker. A hobbyist flyer only needs the drone/operator ID.
