help!

i hav bought a remote control for my winch and i cant figure out how to wire it. ive tried loads of different options and i can only make it go up....

the correct diagram is f21-2s

the 3 connections on the motor choc block are start(left) live (middle) run(right)

i got nothing from it except when i wired the original controller back in then i could get up but not down.


any ideas? im out of clues on this one. and the internet seems to be no help.

Do you mean the bit by the screw? I thought it looked like a crack, but assumed it went up / down prior to remote fitment.

I see it at the flange up & down, and the blown out part around the threaded hole on the right.

Up and down was reference to the movement, not crack direction. If it didn't go up and down I'd certainly strip it down.

It does. Works fine with the original controller. I just want a wireless remote. I think I'm going to get 2x dpdt relays and use them to emulate the original switch, attach the original remote permanently to the side of the winch and use the new remote to switch the relays.

The crack is inconsequential. From dropping it whilst mounting it years ago. It isn't getting any worse.
