Getting further forwards with my sand muller project for my non-ferrous foundry setup, and would like to know if anyone has a clue as to the motor wattage actually is, as the label has become entirely illegible.
Anyway , the machine base is a Bar-O-Mix Minor cement mixer with what looks like a Brooke Crompton Parkinson motor on it.
There is a rounded grey plastic end cap, and a thermal overload reset button , with the thing being furnished with a stop/start rocker switch beneath the capacitor housing.
Drive to the worm reduction is by a single A- section vee belt.
Not sure if it is 1/2 hp or 3/4 hp, but it would be nice to know.....
The machine looks to have been made in the late 1970's or early 1980's.....
Cheers,
Dave.
