If you were to make the whole thing out of say PETG then be careful on the colour match. We found filament sold as bronze or gold often a better match to what most of us know as "brass".

The Chinese makers seem to get their brass/bronze/copper descriptions a bit muddled.

Stainless steel polishes up like a mirror, and sometimes when you have to adapt (bodge) it's better to have contrasting
colors, instead of trying to "blend it in" making it look worse.
