If I tidied up I could have far more room.

Dangerous game that tidying up lark... It just increases the hoarding storage capacity of a given space.

And I still need more tools, a 4 post wheel free lift would be helpful but the boss is putting her foot down.....

When I bought my compressor, they guy I had it off offered me his 2 post lift for £100 as he needed it shifted sharpish ready to hand the unit back.

I have ummed and ahhed about whether saying no was the right call... But it would of been a hell of a job to install.

Chainsaw collection has now grown to about 12 Husqvarna, 1 Top Handle Dolmar and the big Echo.

I've got a little Komatsu-Zenoah top handle jobby with a 10" bar, and a Dolmar-Sachs 111 with an 18" bar.

Recently scrapped a Stihl 009 that was beyond economic repair, which was really my partner's (as she doesn't like handling the Dolmar).

They're handy to have around but only get used maybe once a year, I should probably sell them...

But you never know when someone is going to post up on the local Facebook that they need a fallen tree moved, and I'm always a magpie for hardwood in the round.

Many years ago at uni, my next door neighbour's house was raided by armed police in the early hours after one of the housemates decided to use an (all too) realistic Airsoft gun as a prop for a Halloween Costume and got a bit lairy with it in the high street.

Thankfully the door was so **** that it popped open without damage, and the police were pretty chill with everyone that hadn't been recently spotted waving a gun shaped object around in public.

Watching the lad in question get an absolute bollocking, stood in the street handcuffed with only a pair of boxers on, whilst clearly on the way from drunk to having a cracking hangover was a sufficient cautionary tale.

I believe he got off with the Airsoft gun confiscated, a night in the cells, a formal caution, and his parents driving across the country to give him another extremely loud bollocking (the joys of terraced housing) about 2 days later.

Plenty of free firewood........If they ever use it normally...

Man you got that right. I found I can't be living the same way as I did overseas with less than a 30 square metre garage here. I do miss my barn.
