Car Port For A Volkswagen Camper

Bit of an odd request really but does anyone here own a vw camper ? pref a bay window

Reason being is i'm looking into building a car port where i can store and work on one but i haven't actually bought the bus yet so i have no idea how high to build it

I'm intending to build it from the top of my garage that currently stands at 7 ft 7 inches floor to roof ( exterior ) and ideally i need it high enough so i could get the bus up on axle stands

I don't think i can take the embarassment of building a carport and then not being able to fit a bus under it

I had a T2 Devon (bay), years ago, and I doubt you'll get it very far off the ground under a 7' 7" ceiling.
I think the roof gutter was about 6' and the raising roof must have added another 8".
I certainly couldn't get into some local car parks - barriers too low.

This is the kind of public mistake that everybody enjoys.
Stereophoney, you are a spoilsport. Go on guesstimate it and be 4" out.

It was an S reg Bay window Westfalia and it was 6' 9" at the highest point with std suspension and wheels.
