I've just seen that this company is now insolvent. Units are still being sold on eBay by a trader in liquidated stock - but for now the UK spares back-up operation is in doubt. Pity because they didn't look too bad at the price

My old boss used to fold one company then the new company (already set up in the background) would buy the stock for a pittance so he could carry on trading

For the £ Rohr welders were decent. I have a small arc welder and a 200amp MIG welder Rohr brand and did reviews of them here including opening them up.

They are both very good welders and get regular use by me along with my R Tech and SIP welders.

I always check out small companies on companies house to see how many versions there have been...unless the warranties are 3rd party I think they are lost right?

All seems just a bit too cheap...did I see a truck sold for less than £2k or did I miss read that?

15% fees on the winning bid then 20% vat on top of that.
Ie, £100 winning bid +15% = £115 +20%
= £138

Perhaps they are better than the ones sold in petrol stations for a tenner then? £19 seems a bit optimistic to me unless they are much better quality.

Companies house accounts seem to summarise the reasons for closure....bit of a shame really...looks like a bad combination of economic factors
