IMO after 60 yrs of playing with vehicles & jacks , jacks are only meant for lifting , you're much safer using quality axle stands to support the load and remove the jack , which being on wheels can move and cause injury

I won't go under a vehicle unless it's chocked with wooden blocks, I often work on my own, and don't fancy being squashed.
