Are the £400 ones you mention complete grinders then?

Yes, but it was a one-off about 2 years ago (maybe 3).

Edit: in fact probably 3 or 4. An American mate bought me the adaptors and gave them to me when we met in Antigua. Shipping direct to the UK was/is very expensive.

How much does it cost for the kit and parts to adapt it all?

I just bought the head and modified it to fit to an existing T&C grinder. They can be had for around £100 from eBay or Amazon or the usual suspects in China...
