Shame, as your work is superb….I’m completely shot
It’s not too late, it could still be some table legs a chopping board and a bread bin…I’m completely shot
It’s just made me look it up as I thought they were hand held used with bags of sand. But oh no - they look incredible machines. It’s not too late, it could still be some table legs a chopping board and a bread bin…
To be honest I’m not completely sure what a planishing hammer does but given your usual output I’m sure watching one being made is going to be inspiring. I’m looking forward to seeing how it’s done.
Yes - that’s for a tire hammer IIRC. Looks rather more blacksmith than panel finishingThere is a fascinating video on the net of a "group build" - where 30 odd Americans team up to make the various parts of a fabricated, car wheel version of these - they all had tasks, like a production line over a weekend. I think the link was on here??
I thought they used red for just the core prints.Your corner of the UK will be sinking under the weight -silver lining - the price of scrap will go up...
Black for core prints most patterns are red though a pattern maker in Bolton uses green with black printsI thought they used red for just the core prints.
That looks like the core print is just the round bit at the end of the red bit, and the core box in the photo below is for the bit of sand to hollow the red part out?
thats the only trouble with loving what you do, tend to put in far more effort, time, quality than the job will return in wages.I think you may be slightly nuts.... but, good work as usual
