The last bit confuses me.
How come the estimated size of the universe is 93 billion light years? If the universe is 14 Billion years old, even if we were at the centre that would only make the universe 28 billion light years across unless either:-
a) Matter can indeed travel faster than the speed of light, when expanding out from the centre of the big bang.
or,
b) The universe didn't start from a central point big bang.
I know the big bang theory is being seriously questioned of late.
Matter in space is limited to less than the speed of light, relative to space.
But the space that contains the matter is not limited, so the space expanded carrying the matter with it.
