I've got a cheap engine stand here that's missing a couple of the parts that actually touch the engine - the bits the bolt goes though into the block.
Is my best plan just to remake these with some box section and tube (running though the box so the box does not crush) or is there a better plan for a single engine (as in I only need to mount one engine - it does not need to be adaptable)
I'm sure I watched a youtube ones of someone cutting a plate to match the rear stud pattern and just using that, but, due to my lack of experience in the matter, I can't really see how this is "better" and I can't find the video now.
I need to do something before my friend wants his stand back...
