Well I picked up a new to me Kranzle yesterday and tought I would try it out on the concrete patio area.
I think I may need to turn it down as I stopped after 5 minutes as I could see it blasting the actual top layer off the slab!
It was a 15 deg nozzle too by the way.

Great bits of kit though these Kranzle machines.

Try holding the nozzle further away, to give a 1-2" wide fan. It'll be less vicious on the slabs that way, and get the job done quicker.

Get one of the Patio Cleaner attachments. Much less mess, quicker and not as agressive.

I have also ordered a 40 degree nozzle so this may be better suited than the 15

Got a pretty old Karcher, one of the old good ones, got about 200 sqm of indian sandstone and about 100sqm of concrete slabs, find direct pressure hose cleaning too aggressive and uses a lot of water. Been using this attachment for a fair few years now, less aggressive and uses less water per slab, cleans well and is quicker. Can you get something like that for the Kranzel?

Yup, that's the kind I see around here, look like a lawnmower.
that smaller hand held one looks handy for on a wall.

I have a Kranzle washer also best tool I ever bought. You want to be using a Kranzle lance like this:



I have done acres of tarmac and concrete with this over the past few years. It's quick and provides an even finish.

As long as it has the same connection to the lance then any of the more commercial floor cleaners can be used, as all that needs changing are the nozzles on the unit. But with low volume machines you may struggle to find small enough nozzles that work effectively
