Getting ready for our France trip,I had overheating troubles last year,got a garage in the dordogne to solder the split in the bellows thermostat,the replacement is completely different from the last 74 years! So I’ve had to modify the mounting for it to operate correctly,then test the operation with a heat gun,just hope the new one will last 56 years,so my kids get long service!

The trolley is Bluepoint with original key. Shelf is a drop down Snap On accessory. Pleasingly heavy built cart.

I will clean / polish it up and fit new tool tray liner mats in the coming days.

Today I got some tool rolls for this BluePoint trolley and some others I have



Plus a screwdriver set from amazon for £29 which I realised was IDENTICAL to a Britool Hallmark set for double that price

20mm scalpings plus clinker from the forge liberally mixed with grinding dust,the lower legs are close to the edge,where it becomes excavated spoil from shed footings. Kind of you to notice.

A grand supply of coke for the forge,which is getting harder to source and of varying quality,possibly getting worse,apparently many of the small mines with only a handful,perhaps only one miner , have closed recently .

Where TF are they going? Engineers safety factor of x10 was applied there!

Curious if this is a stability item on top of the wall in the photo with the openings? Or are they for something else not in the scope of the photo?

A regulator. Used off eBay.

I was going to put it on the wall above the compressor, and connect it to the outlet with ½" hose and barb connectors. The ports are ½" BSP, but what's going on with the mounting brackets?

I won't be able to fit any adaptor I've seen between the 'pips', the gap between them is about 11mm. What am I missing?

The mounting brackets are actually part of their coupling system.

They basically join various excelon accessories together as well as providing mounting locations.
If you want to use the threaded ports you need to swap to a different mounting bracket, either their hook type carrier or neck mount bracket.

And once you have looked up the price, you’ll probably do this instead:
74 series will be a bigger nut though I think, so sourcing something suitable might be a challenge.

Ah yes, I remember that post now. I was wondering what the O rings in the brackets were for.
