Replacement kitchen cupboard doors

Any top tips?
The current ones are vinyl wrapped and its peeling off.
Just hoping to change the doors to make it more presentable and not spend a fortune.
Any one done it?

not done but looked in to it

first take measurement of your cupboards and then note (measure)where the hinge holes are in the doors as well as your new doors will have to have the same or blanks so you can add the holes your self

Going to check B&Q as its local tomorrow, initially its not cheap but way cheaper than a new kitchen, its all the end panels and trims that soon mount up.

Someone on here stripped the vinyl off and repainted their doors recently (last year maybe).

the carcus are not that expensive its all the trimes kick board worktops sink that make it add up

forget b&q or any other kitchen place as units change and so does the doors

find out your sizes of doors then search for them ebay or cupboard door replacement places

every kitchen is different and every door will have changed over the years since your cupboards have been fitted

I cleaned and painted all of our kitchen units 4 years ago using Valspar paint from B and Q , they still look good

I have looked at this but the cupboards have a deep recess machined in to the door the Wrappers won't do it and paint won't give the white gloss finish we want.

are you after the white plastic coated doors

or a painted high gloss door

both have issues with them hence the reason why i prefer proper wood doors on kitchen units

I bought replacements from a local cabinet place that made their own carcases to suit, just buying in standard doors.

I had to sort my own recesses for the hinges if I remember correctly - not too onerous for a couple, but might be a pain for a full kitchen.

As above, there are specialist places that only do replacement kitchen doors. You give hte drawings, choose the style, colour, etc. and they make to order.

doors2size is an example of one I have used for two sets of tapered understairs doors. There are many others.
