What have you lost today......

Plenty of threads for things you acquire but what did you loose.

Today I lost a locating dowel for a trend 35mm hinge hole cutter FFS, one plastic dowel is trapped when it's in position but the other is not and on its first outing at some point I've had it upside down and it's gone.

It's not listed as a spare on website, it's still useable but just a tad more fiddly now.

What have you lost that you put some wheres safe..

As per title really, I took one wheel of my ifor as anti theft , not that that would stop "them" , sides and spare wheel also locked in container But.. where the did I put the wheel studs ? so new set ordered . what are you missing ,awol

Well I emailed trend to see if they sell them, they don't but they are sending some out free..top service.

I don't buy much in the way of tools but go through a few of their router bits, will certainly look at other stuff...

This was for a relatively cheap item, I sent an email to a fridge company last week as I've been sent one with a wire off and have 2 connectors it could go onto not even had a reply to that and the cost is huge compared to trend...

I dropped a bearing the other day. I heard it hit the floor so I knew it couldn't have gone far. Could I see it on the floor though, could I ****.

In the end I emptied out the entire shed, swept and then hoovered the floor in the search for it, and still never found it.

In the end I gave up and ordered a new one.

Yesterday, I opened the cupboard beneath the bench, and there it was, sat proudly on the shelf in plain view. God knows how it got in there, because I was certain it hit the floor and pinged off into some dusty recess.

I feel your pain, but hey workshop got cleaned so there was a posative , one of my worst ones asking my brother where were my safety glasses , nope did nt know , so after a thorough search got a new pair out , couple hours later went in for a cuppa only to see in the mirror I now had two pair glasses ,one on top of my hat....
